Currently I have a Linksys E3000 running stock and an Asus RT-N12 that I flashed with a VPN flavor of TomatoUSB. Linksys is 192.168.1.1, and the Asus is 192.168.0.1 configured as a wireless bridge. I also went to DYNDNS and setup an account if it factors in. We will be at lots of hotspots along the way and I want to surf safely. Anyway, is it possible to remotely tunnel into the Asus for web browsing while away, or do I need to flash the E3000? Stock has been working so well on the E3000 that I'm reluctant to flash it since it has been so reliable for my wife's home office with the bank she works at. I fear that what I want to do is just outside of my range, but I want to hear from some of the experts here on whether my skill level will allow me. I feel I can do it with detailed instructions, I just need to to be pointed in the right direction. I'd like to avoid a pay-as-you-go VPN service for a month, but if you guys recommend that route I'll abandon my DIY VPN (for now). So, can anyone help me out with my 2 router setup? Thanks.
Going on SE Asian vacation, help me enable VPN using PPTE on multiple routers....
