I have a Linksys WRT-160N, so use the std (nousb) build. I'd like to be able to use nfs insted of samba for mounting the log directory. I just spent several hours getting samba set up and working with Tomato on my debian server, where with nfs I could've had it mounted in seconds.
I tried extracting the nfs.ko file from the extras, transfering it over to the router and installing it, but I get a 'insmod: can't insert './nfs.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter' when I try to load it.
If it's a space problem, how about two std builds? One with the cifs drivers and one with nfs. The nfs build would even free up a hundred K or so.
