I have a Linksys E3000 running build 54. I've having an issue where, after power is lost or the router is shut down, the e3000 is unable to obtain an IP from my ISP. When this happens, Tomato displays "Connecting" indefinitely in the "Status" menu. Please note that while my network loses contact with the WAN, the computers on my LAN continue to communicate with the router just fine.
The remedy has been to reset the router to factory defaults (within Tomato or by pressing the reset button on the back), and to restore my configuration. We've had power troubles recently and I'm not always around to fix the problem, so this is becoming an issue.
Does anyone know why this would happen and what the fix might be?
My exact configuration is as follows:
DSL => 2wire 2701HG-B in bridge mode (all routing disabled; its just seving as a dumb modem) => Linksys E3000 TomatoUSB
