alright, I shot my own foot, and I am wondering what's the best way to regain the access to my router.
I was trying to set up my Buffalo WHR-G54S, on which tomato was installed, as a wireless bridges (the base station is a netgear that supports WDS). In the course of doing this, I disabled DHCP server. The WDS bridge is not working; and worse still, I cannot access the Buffalo WHR-G54S any more, even with wired connection.
I tried on my laptop to configure the wired connection to not use DHCP and assign static IP and set 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway. The computer reports that there is a connection, but 192.168.1.1 is not reachable when pinging it.
What's the best way to regain access of the router (other than do a factory reset)?
My first post. MY apology if this is not the right place to ask the question.
