Looks like tomatousb is abandoned with the latest build 54 created in 2010. Any chance of getting this project resurrected with ipv6 put into all build types before ipv6 day in june ??
You're in luck. While tomatousb hasn't had an official release in a year, it's development has not gone stagnant. Quite the opposite, there's a bustling community of modders that have continued to add features and functionality to tomatousb. TeddyB, the founder of tomatousb has even been part of more recent development, though who know when we'll see another official release. IPv6 is a well supported feature under these mods. While I don't have native IPv6 (also supported by tomatousb mods) I have setup a IPv6 connectivity using tomatousb through HE tunnel broker.
I recommend the 'Toastman builds'
Another popular one are the Shibby builds
I don't know what you mean by "ipv6 day in june", but in reality ipv6 will be the next up-and-coming big thing when we all are dead and gone. IOW, not in our lifetimes.
Look around as see what the commercial routers with factory firmware have — that is, not the hacker/hobby stuff like tomato or ddwrt, etc. but the *real* stuff that is on 99.9% of all routers bought by normal users. Virtually none of then have ipv6, and all of them have ipv4.
IMHO, there is no need to add extra useless bloat to all tomato builds. IPv4 works fine and will continue to work for the foreseeable future.
He means Workld IPv6 day which was on 6/08/11.
I also wrote a guide to setting up a v6 tunnel with HE on tomato but it's buried in one of the threads.
EDIT: Found it. But it is basically LtP's but not as pretty or well typed.
