Please excuse me for being new to tomato. I am hoping someone can help me with problems relating to port forwarding on tomato.
I am currently running a D-Link DIR-655 with ISP Sonic.net without any problems port forwarding for my WHS and security cameras so that they can be accessed anywhere.
I recently bought a Linksys E3000 and upgraded the firmware to the latest tomato build available at this site. Everything seems to be working except for port forwarding (ie. ports 80, 443, and 4125 for WHS and port 81 for my DVR). I've also tried enabling uPnp without success. Testing the ports on www.yougetsignal.com also shows that the ports are closed when using Tomato, but open when using the DIR-655.
I did change the IP address of the router to 192.168.0.1 instead of the default 192.168.1.1 so that the settings would be the same as the DIR-655. One of the things that I noticed immediately after logging in to the tomato firmware was that the WAN ip address is 192.168.0.6 and default gateway address is 192.168.0.1 - on the DIR-655, the WAN ip was 220.127.116.11 and default gateway was 18.104.22.168.
Anyone have any thoughts about what might be the problem I'm having with tomato?
