Currently I am using one of the newer Shibby builds on a RT-N16 router with a cell network card attached to one of the USB ports. I installed optware to a USB flash drive and have installed the strongswan package, but I cannot start ipsec.
I keep getting the following errors:
[code]Starting strongSwan 4.5.3 IPsec [starter]…
modprobe: module af_key not found in modules.dep
no netkey IPsec stack detected
modprobe: module ipsec not found in modules.dep
no KLIPS IPsec stack detected
no known IPsec stack detected, ignoring!
starter is already running (/var/run/starter.pid exists) — no fork done
It appears that there are no IPSec stacks enabled in the kernal. We really do need IPSec VPN due to the fact that we run many devices that we need to access remote (and accessing each via a different port is not ideal). Would it be possible to get a build with an IPSec stack enabled in the kernal? Or perhaps there is a different VPN program to install that I did not see?
