I've been trying to figure out which router to go for, and which firmware. Currently have a dir-655, it's terrible and unstable, and I hate it.
I initially thought of using dd-wrt, but then I heard about Tomato, and it seems perfect for me.
However, I'd like to buy a device that is fully supported, how beta is the 2.6 kernel?
It's gonna run a 70/15 line split up by a couple of neighbours, nothing too extreme.
I was looking at either Asus RT16u, Linksys E4200 or E3000. Got any pros and cons for either of them? Stability and compatability is the most important thing for me, I've had it with instability.
