I have a fairly simple configuration and trying to support HTTP and FTP inbound requstes, but they never seem to reach lan side. I have configured the e4200 with "Tomato Firmware v1.28.2492 MIPSR2-Toastman-VLAN-RT-N K26 VPN" and have only been using it for a few months, so I am also new to the Tomato platform.
I have two public IP's x.91 (WAN) and x.92 and have currently configured a PBX by forwarding the necessary ports to the local server (PBX) from the x.92 address. This seems to be working fine and I now need to forward x.92:80 and x.92:21 but after several long sessions I still dont know why these do not forward.
I have been running Wireshark to watch the traffic on the interface and I never see x.92:80 traffic, but if I put the server in the DMZ it works like a champ - just dont want to leave it there. I have been trying to stay with using the GUI since I don't have much experience with iptables.
Can anyone provide a diagnostic step by step or something to look for inthe iptables dump that could clue me into whats going on? BTW: the iptables do appear to look right in that I see the port forwards and related referances.
