So have an issue that I am pretty sure related to tomato.
Have file sharing setup on my windows machine, My mac can access this fine, but randomly the mac will no longer be able to connect to the windows shares, the mac can still ping the windows box and rdp to it, but can't connect to the smb shares, only fix is to restart both machines. Then it could be an hr could be a day, and bang the shares drop off and can't reconnect. This happens when using both the IP and Hostname.
Reason I think this is related to tomato is.
This happened to me previously when I was running an ASUS RT-16N, every couple of days the shares would stop working, at the time I thought this was an issue with windows/osx
I then upgraded to a linksys E4200 running the stock linksys firmware for 6 months, never had this issue at all in that whole time.
2 Days ago I installed Tomato onto my E4200 and bang, the issue has come back.
Currently running the tomato-E4200USB-NVRAM60K-1.28.2489MIPSR2-Toastman- VLAN-RT-N-VPN.bin build, not sure what I was running on the Asus, pretty sure it was the Vitek/Raf Build.
So what could this be? I'm so confused, and so tempted to go back to stock for this reason, Love tomato and so glad to have it back after a little break, did miss it :) Any Ideas?
