Is the Cisco Valet M10 supported by Tomato?
If so I would be using Toastman mod. What version would work for this particular router?
I dared to try it and was able to install tomato-K26-1.28.7493MIPSR2-Toastman-RT-Mini.trx. I previously had a trailed build from dd-wrt installed.
I haven't tested it extensively as I am only using it as a wireless bridge.
you say , tomato-K26-1.28.7493MIPSR2-Toastman-RT-Mini.trx
i have a m10 v1 with Broadcom BCMB83A chip rev 0
currently running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/20/11) mini - build 18024 ( loaded directly thru the cisco firmware update )
would prefer to run tomato in client mode , dd-wrt is over complicated for my purpose ..
any help or input appreciated
I decided to go forward and flash it Tomato due to extra features DD-WRT does not have. I flashed from the trailed build of DD-WRT to Tomato. M10 V1 valet here. It flashed fine, I made sure to do a 30-30-30 reset before the flash and after just to make sure I didn't get corrupt NVRAM settings.
Used Toastman's Tomato mod. Name was: tomato-K26-1.28.7500.4MIPSR2Toastman-RT-Std
The Valet M10 V1 is a WRT160N version 3!
Firmware Kernel 2.6 will work! Obviously, at your own risk!!!
