I've been using TomatoUSB on my Cisco E3000 for some weeks and I really loved its features and polite design. Then I started to deal with a Netgear WDR3800 and put Gargoyle on it.
Having a flaky and very variable ADSL, I started to play with the Active Congestion Control (managed by the qosmon tool) and I really was able, for the first time, to set up a proper QoS without killing my connection and taking care of lower or higher bandwidth peaks.
I think it's design is clean and intelligent (not like the unuseful Vegas TCP congestion control) and not just limited to TCP.
It would be great to see it implemented in TomatoUSB and I think it would make TomatoUSB the best and most complete firmware out there.
Did anyone try or think about it?
Thank you for this great piece of software.
