Hi, new to tomato here as just switched from ddwrt.
Especially impressed with how easy it is to connect multiple drives, which was a complete pain in ddwrt.
Anyway, i was reading this article (h*t*t*ps://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=145247, sorry not allowed to post proper links) about DVB on openwrt. Seeing as Tomato runs on the same-ish hardware i was wondering if it was possible?
I plugged in my dvb-t stick last night, and it was recognised (using lsusb and dmesg) but not as a dvb stick.
I noticed that tomato doesn't have the dvb kernel modules, and they aren't in the extra kernel modules either. What is the easiest way to go about getting those? I'm running beta23 (i think, not got access at the moment) with kernel 18.104.22.168(?)
Also, i know from having run the stick on linux that i needed to put a firmware (.fw) file in /lib/firmware. The only firmware folder i could find on tomato was /sys/firmware which appears to be read-only. How would i go about adding the firmware for the stick?
Obviously, then i'd need to go about getting some software, but first things first.
If this is impossible please tell me! :)
Thanks for reading, and thanks to the devs for some great software.
