Can I assign Two MAC addresses to 1 static IP, or will that create conflicts?
In the tomato firmware, it allows me to put in two MAC addresses per IP addresses. Is this to facilitate having a laptop on the network? I have assigned my laptop's wireless and wired MAC addresses to the same static IP. Since they won't be connected at the same time, this will reduce the possibilities of conflict. But, there is one more concern: the lease will still be assigned on one mac address when I switch to the other network adapter. Will this be a problem?
