I'm having some troubles with Tomato on my RT-N16. I'm running version 1.28.7486 MIPSR2-Toastman, but I had similar problems with a much older build too (>1 year, don't remember exact version number).
When using wifi, sometimes WAN connectivity will drop. The odd thing is that I can still access the internet from other computers using wifi, and on the device w/ connectivity problems, I can still access LAN resources. I did a traceroute the last time this happened and got this:
traceroute yahoo.com traceroute: Warning: yahoo.com has multiple addresses; using 188.8.131.52 traceroute to yahoo.com (184.108.40.206), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets 1 unknown (192.168.1.1) 1.233 ms 0.788 ms 12.009 ms 2 220.127.116.11 (18.104.22.168) 14.091 ms 14.775 ms 16.245 ms 3 te-7-4-ur06.seattle.wa.seattle.comcast.net (22.214.171.124) 9.987 ms 12.119 ms 16.457 ms 4 * * * 5 pos-1-4-0-0-cr01.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net (126.96.36.199) 14.497 ms pos-1-10-0-0-cr01.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net (188.8.131.52) 11.456 ms pos-1-13-0-0-cr01.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net (184.108.40.206) 10.898 ms 6 * * *
Any idea on why this would be happening? Has anyone had something similar? I can usually resolve by disabling and then re-enabling wifi on my laptop, but this is very frustrating and perplexing given other devices on my network can connect to WAN without any problems.
