I'm running shibby's release, works awesome.
I want to restrict the total amount of bandwidth the WAN connection can use to 1500kbps/512kbps. It's sharing a DSL modem with my main LAN and I don't want the public WiFi taking up more than half of the bandwidth.
I then want to restrict each to user 512kbps/150kbps, so not one user can take up all of the allowed bandwidth.
I believe I have this working by creating a QoS rule that limits a class of IP's to 1500kbps/512kbps. I then I use the BWLIMIT and created an entry for EVERY IP address (192.168.1.100 through 192.168.1.150) that has a DLRate of 512kbps and ULRate of 150kbps. I have 50 lines on the BWLIMIT page.
Is this the correct way to do this? I don't see any other way of doing this without adding every IP on it's own line in BWLIMIT.
