Im running dd-wrt today, but would like to switch to tomatousb to check if i like that more.. I have tested the "official" tomatousb build, but it seems to be almost a year old now, so id like to use something a wee bit more up-to-date..
I can see Toastman has done some awesome work on his end with loads of different builds.. and here is why im asking:
What version would i flash for my WRT320N? I dont use VPN or any real fancy things, but i would like QoS traffic shaping (to stop my 15 year old snagging the whole bandwidth), and also timed access restriction..
There is so many different builds, and no clear documentation on what works on the WRT320N.. Mainpage more or less just lists "NoUSB", but i dont see any indication to this on Toastmans "build list"..
Eg. would tomato-K26-1.28.4407.1MIPSR2-Toastman-VLAN-RT-NoUS B+VPN.trx work? Whats with the ".trx" thing? (not .bin)..
whats the difference between the "vlan-rt" version and the "rt" one? tomato-K26-1.28.7486.2MIPSR2-Toastman-RT-NoUSB+VPN .trx
Would really really hate to end up with a paper weight in the end of the day :)
