Hey guys, I'm on a wrt54gl with tomato-ND-1.28.7628.1-Toastman-Std installed.
Regardless of firmware, port forwarding never seemed to work for me unless it was done with upnp/nap-pmp.
Well actually, it does work sometimes but never on the app i need it to work for.
As a result, this is what I do in order to host a fileserver like hfs+
1) Open utorrent and configure the port.
2) Close utorrent, use the port i configured as the hfs+ port
3) hfs+ magically works.
I see on this firmware I can make upnp insecure, as well as turn off cleanup. So not only would I like to be able to open all the ports to my computer, I would like to be able to do it for my playstation 3 as well.
I assume there's some iptables command I could put in that would do this for me?
tedp.id.au/stallone/ I think this is what I need but I have no linux/compiling experience and there's no win32exe provided and I wouldn't be able to map the ports to a separate lan ip either.
If anyone could help, that would be great. And yes, I know DMZ will give me the result I want, but unfortunately that would only work for one device and in the past I've found that it causes instabilities.
