It appears that Tomato writes out a file called /etc/dnsmasq/hosts/hosts, which is in /etc/hosts format, and read in by Dnsmasq. It contains entries like:
This could instead be accomplished via a Dnsmasq config entry like:
where domain is dynamically substituted with the output from 'nvram get wan_domain'.
(I tend to like 'public' better than 'wan-ip', but that's open for discussion.)
