My Netgear WNR3500L router is running v1.28.7480 MIPSR2-Toastman-RT K26 USB VPN-NOCAT. Tomato has a LAN IP subnet of 10.0.0.x.
The WAN port is connected to a SpeedTouch 780WL ADSL modem with integrated VoIP client. The ADSL modem is in bridged mode and passes the ISP's public IP address and traffic to Tomato transparently. To access the VoIP client of the 780WL while in bridged mode, I set up an IP alias of 192.168.1.1 on Tomato; the 780WL has a static IP address of 192.168.1.254 (in addition to the dynamic public IP address).
The VoIP client on the 780WL (192.168.1.254) connects to Asterisk running on Tomato (10.0.0.1 with 192.168.1.1 alias) via the WAN port. How can I configure Tomato's QoS to not limit the bandwidth to the 780WL? I have tried inserting a rule at the beginning to set the QoS class to Disabled for traffic with a source or destination IP of 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254. However, the connections between Tomato and 780WL would get caught by the later rules intended to rate-limit traffic between Asterisk and the Internet.
Thank you for any advice!
