i want to use tomato behind another router. this is necessary, because the other router has an integrated vdsl-modem. and unfortunately it is not possible to use it simply as modem.
to be able to use the additional lan-ports on that router i want to ask, if i can link both routers, but use my tomato-router as the main-unit?
<DSL> - <VDSL-Router> - <Tomato-Router>
PC1 connected to VDSL-Router
PC2 connected to VDSL-Router
PC3 connected to Tomato-Router
PC4 connected to Tomato-Router
PC5 connected to Tomato-Router
Each request towards the internet should go via Tomato-Router (could be managed by standard-gateway set to tomato-router), but local traffic should be possible between both routers.
if i need a 2nd network-address, that should be no problem, as long as both networks can communicate with each other and with the internet.
how do i have to connect them? wan-port of tomato with lan-port of VDSL-router?
