I recently purchased my e3000 and decided that upgrading to Tomato USB would probably help with my port forwarding woes. While it did help with my speeds, I'm still having a few issues here and there.
Firstly, UPnP / NAT-PMP is failing to play nicely with Transmission on my mac. I realize there's a way to run transmission through the router, but right now I don't have the external drive required and I'm just running it through my OSX (10.5.8) laptop. I can see the rule being created on the router, but with just UPnP Transmission claims the port is still closed. However, if I DMZ my laptop the ports show as open (in Transmission and through a port-check),
Secondly, I don't seem to be able to get these two 360's to achieve Open NAT at the same time (both have static IPs on the network) - this was my original reason for flashing to Tomato USB. I've thrown one on the DMZ IP and manually set up the ports Microsoft lists for Live on the other one. The one with the port forwarding rules set is working wonderfully, but no dice with the DMZ box. Is this even possible from one WAN IP? (two 360's w/ Open NAT for Live & the same game).
Thanks in advance for your replies.
