Any recommendation of a router that can easily/effortlessly stream 1080p mkv/mp4/avi video files while downloading and seeding 100++ torrents.

Any router that is comparable to a WNR3500L should work with a few dozen torrents + 1080p. Also 1080p should be handled using cat5e or a separate 3 stream router in AP mode. 100++ torrents will generate in excess of 20,000 concurrent connections, especially using DHT w/ many peers, few consumer router will do that eventhough router review site smallnetbuilder shows some routers can handle hundreds of thousands of connections, but those that do drops the connections way too soon (aka timeouts set too low once memory and CPU usage go up). You need an embedded board or computer w/ 256MB of RAM.
The soon to be release Asus ROG (Republic of Gaming) RT N66U Gaming Router is said to have about 256MB ram 32MB flash and a 600MHz CPU.
