I tried flashing Toastman's new v1.28.7480 MIPSR2-Toastman-RT K26 Mini directly from DDWRT because its a 4MB flash and that build fits on my WRT160N. Anyway I managed to brick it for some reason and I cant manage to establish a constant connection to be able to TFTP it. Ive tried a 303030 reset and still no stability. Pinging it from cmd prompt allows me to get anywhere from 1-3 responses directly after boot and then I just get connection failed for the rest. This time window isnt enough to allow TFTP to even begin, which is a little sad :(
Im willing to do anything at this point to get it back, simply because its useless in its current state anyway. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
I mean its no big deal, I reinstalled the WRT54GL I had as a central router but id rather have a MIPS2 router as my base station :v
Is there a way to short the pins on the flash chip like I did with one of my GLs for this router?
