I had Tomato 1.28 on, downloaded the latest TomatoUSB Lite 1.28 beta and upgraded from the Tomato UI. After install I cannot access the UI from either LAN or WAN via HTTP or HTTPS. I cannot access telnet or SSH. I can ping the router from the LAN side. I tried the 30/30/30 reset several times and it doesn't appear to do anything with this router. I tried the Asus recovery tool and it fails to find the router. Draytek also fails. The odd thing is that it issuing IPs in the same subnet I had configured before this upgrade rather than 192.168.1/24. So it is working, I just can't reset it to default or access it. Any thoughts?
I figured it out. Stupid Windows 7 kept resetting the IP information I hardcoded for whatever reason. Used XP and was able to make it happen over the old LAN IP I had set in the router before upgrading the firmware.
I sure hope Microsoft understands that people are going to keep using XP "illegally" after they mothball it. They need to get their act together!
