I recently got a E2000 router and Tomato reports the chipset is "BCM4716 rev 1 pkg 9", while the Linksys wiki page lists the E2000 as a 4717, and even the WRT320N (which supposedly is the same HW as the E2000) also is only spec'ed as 4717. 4716 chips were used on the 310 model.
Does anyone know if the 4716 rev1 is just the same as 4717? Is the 4716 rev1 inferior?
I also have a problem where the CPU shows up as 354 MHz initially (as rated), but after a power cycle by pulling the power cord it resets to 133 MHz and will not go back to 354 unless I manually force it to (from the Misc/Config menu). The only other way around it that I found was erasing the NVRAM and letting it reboot (but after a power cycle it returns to 133 again).
A similar problem has been discussed before here but with no fix/solution and I wonder if there are other associated problems to be fixed besides forcing the CPU freq.
I'm running FW v1.28.7476 MIPSR2-Toastman-RT KT26 Std firmware (E2000 version). I'm not sure if the latter problem is related to Toastman or not. Any/all advice would be appreciated.
