Hi, another newbie question. I wanted to have my USB drive media files accessible to other devices (e.g. PS3, Bravia TV) on the network. I am trying to Enable the Media Server under USB and NAS> Media Server, but I am not sure what the three options for Database Location means (RAM, JFFS, Custom Path). I am assuming Custom Path is the external USB drive? How will I specify it in the box, if that's the case?
Also, under Media Directories, should I specify the path to the USB drive too? Is this the one seen under Attached Devices in USB and NAS > USB Support? In my case, my external drive has a Description of "Seagate FreeAgentDesktop
Partition 'FreeAgent Drive' fuseblk (465.76 GB / 148.96 GB free) is mounted on /tmp/mnt/FreeAgent_Drive" … should I then add "/tmp/mnt/FreeAgent_Drive" to the Media Directories? Should I also copy this in Custom Path for Database Location.
Thanks in advance for your help. I looked in the tutorials and documentation but most material is very advanced and assumes you already understand a little. Thanks again, Jim.
