i was running DD-WRT on my WRT-54GL more than 3 years, but still fighting with some issues on speed and QoS stuff. I've changed it to Tomato USB VPN yesterday and everything runs like a charm. Thanks for this great piece of software! :-)
I'm also thinking on buying an Asus RT-N16 to get more speed, memory and a quite new, powerful platform, using the old WRT as a AP on the first floor. But the Tomato firmware based on Kernel V2.6 for the Asus is called "experimental", which makes me a bit careful.
Are there known issues in stability, which is very important for me, compared to the V2.4 version on my Linksys? Or can i give the Asus a chance expecting also a stable router?
Thanks for your comments,
