I was trying to have my router update the records for my own domain, addint itself to the zone.
Mind you that I am running a full-blown BIND at a VPS for an org, and would like to cut DynDNS out of the loop.
Currently, I have a CNAME record, mapping my hostname to my DynDNS domain, which is updated from the router.
With the correct DNS upate, I could update the A, MX and PTR records, which is more than most Dynamic DNS services out there provide.
I was looking at the innards of TomatoUSB, and didn't found a way to do what I want.
Then I started looking at an nsupdate port, seems someone tried and the whole nsupdate ended bigger than the BIND9 port.
That left me with building a new image for tomato, which I do not have the luxury of timm to do.
