I have a Asus RT-N16 flashed with the latest firmware (and am currently running a toastman modded firmware.
I am unable to get my hitatchi external drive to mount.
when i enable usb support and refresh, the drive is seen.
shows a hitatchi with a 2.8tb partition.
but when i try to mount it i get the following error
"Failed to mount, please verify the device is plugged in and try again"
it's obviously plugged in because it sees the drive.
I've had it formatted in NTFS and now currently ext3
both the same issue.
so i loaded a toastman mod firmware today and reloaded, still doing the same thing.
also this does have and is hooked up to an external power supply
does anyone have any suggestions that may help?
Edit - after much reading.
the drive says it's only seeing 2199 gb
I see that appears to be a common problem with > 2tb drives.
I had read post on here with people saying this router/firmware will work with 3tb drives.
does this router only work with 2tb & less?
