I recently moved over from dd-wrt to TomatoUSB (and Tomato is great. Exactly what I was looking for).
My system: Asus RT-N16, Tomato v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 USB vpn3.6, optware on /opt using MosKeyTo 4GB Flash Drive
I made a few config changes.. I added an additional user account via passwd/shadow.custom, and then I installed optware and loaded a few packages like bash, sftp-server, and a couple others. But, when I ssh'd into the router I found that my shell was screwed up, and I couldn't see any files in directory listings. I could still run apps like top & ipkg, but directory listings showed nothing. I removed the bash package, and everything returned to normal.
So, my questions are: Is there some other factor I need to understand or be concerned about when adding packages to the system? Is this a version compatibility issue? Is there a way to validate compatibility when installing packages?
