Hello - I just loaded "Tomato Firmware v1.28.8754 ND vpn3.6 Linux kernel 184.108.40.206 and Broadcom Wireless Driver 220.127.116.11 updates" onto an wrt-310n router, planning to create a WIFI net, that is tunneled through StrongVPN into the US ( so I have access to Netflix from Europe ).
The router is daisy chained to an D-link DSL modem/router.
The PPTP WAN setup works and connects, but is is incredibly slow - I get speeds of 40 kbits/sec. When I try the same PPTP connection on my Mac, I get speeds of 1.5 mbits/sec. Pings are reasonably fast - 200 msec.
There is the line "Options" i the PPTP configuration, but I have not found any documentation on what the text options there are. Some of the discussions on the net mention enabling packet-reordering, I wonder if there is an "option" to turn this on in TomatoUSB.
Thanks for any info/pointers. PaulC.
