I have a Seagate GoFlex 2TB USB External Drive. It is formatted to NTFS. It is just one partition with folders such as:
TV, Movies, Music — those folders have subfolders with the movie/series/group folders and their respective files in them.
This drive is plugged into my Netgear 3500L (with Tomato USB). The drive is auto-mounted and shared. I've enabled the media server and gotten so far as to surf with my Android phone to some of the files as they are being scanned. I can not play them— which does not bother me now right the second. What does is that during this process I lose the Wifi and or Lan connection.
Now I got nearly 1TB of media, so I realize that can be the snafu right there. But even if I don't scan will this work.
I've Googled this and there are some posts on myopenrouter.com, but essentially people it is difficult to get this to work… Can anyone give me some pointers and or a walkthrough…?
