The configuration is
Actiontec DSL Modem
Cisco E3000 w/Tomato 1.28
One port to a switch & one port to a WiFi AP
DSL LAN port 10.0.0.2
E3000 WAN port 10.0.0.3
E3000 LAN port 10.0.0.4
Currently internet access works just fine, but I can not access the modem's LAN port via ping, telnet, http, etc.
I tried the suggestion posted by Toastman at http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showpost.php?p=338333&postcount=34 and had mixed results. After the configuration change (I used 192.168.0.1 as the DSL LAN and 192.168.0.5 as the added port on the E3000) I could access the modem from inside the LAN, but could no longer access the internet.
It's been 15+ years since I was playing around with routers, and even then I wasn't entirely proficient at it, so the fault is almost certain a pebcak. If anybody could provide me some direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
