Host - Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 running Tomato v1.23. Security WPA2/AES. G-only. 192.168.1.1
Client - Linksys E2000 running TomatoUSB E2000 STD build 54 192.168.1.2 G-only. 2.4GHz mode.
The client is setup as a wireless ethernet bridge with an IP Address of 192.168.1.2 using the same SSID as the host and the same security and passphrase. The client router does not connect to the host and the wireless LED on the router flashes blue indicating no connection. Cleared the NVRAM twice and reconfigured to no avail.
I've tried using DD-WRT and experienced the same problem. With DD-WRT I was able to get the router to connect as a wireless client indicated by a solid blue wireless icon on the router, but it was not able to supply connectivity to other computers on the network.
repro'd in the thread here:
I'll keep checking this thread frequently. I'll post the NVRAM dump from both routers and dmesg when I get home from work.
