Since Tomato USB has been supporting Kernel 2.6 since January 2010, I am curious as to when it will be changed (at least for some routers) from Experimental to Stable. I am running it on an RT-N16 and it seems very stable to me.
IIUC, that fact that it is not labeled "Stable" is more about the possiblity of some changes in feature set/modules/patches, rather than any tendency to crash or exhibit a kernel panic.
My RT-N16 has not hiccuped a single time since I bought it and installed the 2.6 on it.
