I installed tomatoUSB on E3000, and also installed Transmission on the router. I hoped to setup a QoS rule for Transmission but read many comments on this forum that it's very difficult to setup QoS rules for P2P traffic. Since Transmission is the only program that I'm running on the router (no web server or anything), isn't it possible to setup a rule like "any TCP/UDP from 192.168.1.1"?
Originally I wanted to setup rules for VoIP traffics (e.g., Skype) using L7 filters, but it seemed that other traffics, esp. P2P ones, are also considered as VoIP ones. Thus, it helped but was not satisfactory.
BTW, are the traffics shown in QoS -> View Details menu both incoming and outgoing ones? It looks some of them are definitely incoming ones, but I don't know if QoS is also classifying incoming traffics, or how to do that. It looks "Automatically Resolve Addresses" only resolves destination address, and I'm confused.
