I installed tomato-K26USB-1.28.9054MIPSR1-beta-vpn3.6 to start working with IPv6 for educational purpose. Unfortunately, ever since I installed the new firmware based on Kernel 2.6 the router keeps on crashing and rebooting. This occurs randomly at interval of 20 min up to 8 hours. Whenever I connect to the router, I can't see uptime more than 8-9 hours. I kept all default settings, just configured LAN, Wifi with WPA2 and WAN (PPPoE).
I tried looking at the logs in syslogs file (tail -f /var/log/messages) and console but I don't see any logs when the router crash or reboot (I set console verbosity to 8). In addition to this, sometime when it crash, it doesn't reboot. It simply dies and stop answering to any IP traffic and then only a hard reset fix the issue.
Is there anything I can do to improve stability of the K2.6 on this router (BCM4712)?
