Need your help.
I have an Asus RT-N16 running Tomato-K26USB-1.28.9054MIPSR2-beta-vpn3.6 that's been spontaneously rebooting at random intervals. Sometimes a couple days, other times within hours.
This is used only as a router/firewall not a wifi AP, so many things are disabled to keep things as stable as possible,
WiFi radios are disabled.
USB is disabled
What I do use are
DNS (with custom DNSmasq entries)
QoS to prioritize VoiP.
The RT-N16 is located in a cool basement and doesn't seem to feel warm to the touch, in fact it's quite cool so I doubt it's an overheating issue.
When I initially set it up about a month ago, I was sure to that cleared NVram and entered all settings from scratch.
I've come across several other posts that mention reboot/crash issues with the RT-N16 many of them related to same build 9054.
I'm willing to try another build from Toastman or Victek if you think that may solve the issue, but which one and which build that is best suited for DNS, DHCP, QoS and OpenVPN?
Thanks for your guidance and special thanks to the great tomato developers like TB, Toastman and Victek.
p.s. sorry initially posted this in Bugs forum by accident, but wanted to post it in the General forum. As a guest I cannot edit the other post.
