First off, apologies in advance for my incomplete knowledge/experience in networking and the vast amounts of terminology it embodies.
We bought a new router to enhance the performance of our Open VPN server, and because we needed a new router to accommodate a new work space. Our main purpose for the VPN right now is to allow access to our ReadyNAS from various labs as well as remotely (we have many research labs in different rooms of several building on the university campus). Because the new router has USB ports, I thought it would be nice to use the Teddy Bear modded v1.28 to set it up, to allow for sharing of USB printers, etc. I have it running now, but there is one critical aspect which does not work: VPN clients can access the server IP, but none of the LAN-side IP's (specifically, the ReadyNAS). I have attempted to copy every tab in the web-interface of the two router's as closely as possible (accounting for differences in IP addresses, etc), but as you probably are aware, the newer build has added functions which aren't available on the older builds. Upon establishing the VPN connection on the new server, I can ping server-client as well as client-client on the virtual subnet. But the clients cannot access any of the LAN behind the server, which is the most critical function of our network.

Should I just forget this newer build and flash with the older build and our old configuration? Any ideas? I can provide further info…
