Yes. Find out what ports XBOX Live uses and then make a rule in QOS for them. Or, probably better, make a new rule with the XBOX MAC address as source and give it a priority (games?) Does XBOX open ports by itself with UPnP/NAT-PMP or do you also need to forward ports?

Xbox does open ports itself with upnp but i can also forward the port if needed…One thing i noticed after running qos rules is that my speedtest was significantly lower…im assuming this is normal..but was wondering if the network is idle, will p2p still run at full speed or will it be somewhat diminished as qos will only allocate a certain amount of bandwidth…am i correct?
I wasnt able to edit the post so sorry for another one…but i forgot to mention that the xbox is wired to a router that is acting as a client bridge to my main router…would it be better to add the routers(client bridge) mac address instead? or will it be fine with just the xbox mac address….i also have a ps3 connected to the router so it might be beneficial to just add the routers mac address?
sorry for adding another..this will be my last…i might as well make an account :)
I forgot to mention i am running tomatousb tb build 54 on an asus rt-n16 on a 15mbps/2mbps cable internet connection….and have max bandwidth up set to 1500 kbps and max down to 12000kbps, just want to make sure these are okay and if there are any other recommendations you regarding my setup…(RT-N16, internet speed, do download a lot of torrents). Thank you very much for your help!
