Unit is an E3000 using Tomato RAF latest E3000 build. The network setup is the following:
Host router: E3000 on 10.60.5.0/24
My router: WNDR3700 on 10.50.5.0/24
Almost everything works fine, my devices on my subnet have internet access fine and no issues with double NAT I know how to get that working fine. The "issue" or more so, annoyance, is the failure to link the 10.60.5.0 subnet to my 10.50.5.0 subnet. This is the current routing setup:
My WNDR3700 is connected to the E3000 by using client mode with the 5GHz radio and has a static IP of 10.60.5.251 from the E3000, with that said, I do not understand why clients connected to the E3000 are able to trace route to even connect to my desktop which sometimes has shares I put available for sharing. I tried turning on RIP v1/v2 setting and STP, both did nothing. But clients on the E3000 CAN get a response from 10.50.5.1, which my WNDR3700 on it's 10.50.5.0/24 subnet, but not 10.50.5.100 which is my desktop. It is not my WNDR3700 settings as I can use that exact same routing setup in the above screenshot, with DD-WRT on the E3000, and there is no issues? Tried with firewalls off already.
