My DLNA is working beautifully on xbox360 and logitech reveu but both wired and wireless transfer at max is 1.9 mbps and avg 1.4 when i transfer files from computer to router ext HDD. I have a 1TB drive attached with optware in ext3 partition and share in NTFS part. All media files that DLNA serves are on NTFS. I do not have a jumbo frame option on my NIC but I have set all adapters and tomato to full duplex. Signal quality of wireless is 49.
I had DD-WRT before this and I was getting atleast 9 mbps with the same setup. But DD-WRT DLNA installation ate 2 full days of mine, still to no avail so I am not going back there.
Is this because as some people are saying that the bundled SAMBA is older version. is there a way to upgrade SAMBA thats linked to the tomato GUI.
Transmission is working great, Thanks a ton Teddy_B for built in DLNA .
