Got a real strange issue when trying to run TomatoUSB on a WNR3500L as Client/Bridge. When the existing wireless network is configured as G-only, the WNR3500L is never able to connect. Yet when I change the settings on the host router to Mixed B/G, the WNR3500L logs on successfully. This behavior is the same whether I specify G-only or Mixed mode on the WNR3500L as well as if I use the Teddybear or Toastman builds. The SSID, wireless password, and encryption are correct. I have been able to do the above configuration successfully using DD-WRT. I guess I could revert back to using DD-WRT or keep things the way they are but I'm just curious if there is some fix?
WNR3500L Tomato settings:
Lan IP: 192.168.1.3
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (IP of Linksys host router)
Wireless Mode: Ethernet Bridge
Wireless Configuration: G-only with TKIP encryption
Everything else except for Router Name, is left at default. The WNR3500L is currently running Build-54-usb-ext
