Tomato USB transforms spaces to underscores in the hostname field when configuring Static DHCP entries. In the original Tomato project, space-separated values were used to specify multiple hostnames; of course, this doesn't work with the underscore-replaced input. I can understand that restricting that field to a single hostname might be less confusing for some users, but I need to assign multiple hostnames to a single device and hope this feature hasn't completely disappeared in Tomato USB. How should I accomplish this?
(As an aside, the underscores seem a bit silly to me. I believe underscores need to undergo the same IDN escaping used for Unicode characters to be properly used in a hostname, since hostnames were limited to hyphens and alphanumerics [separated by periods] before the escaping mechanism was created. I'd be curious to hear why spaces are being replaced by underscores instead of hyphens, given the no-spaces-in-hostnames rationale given for this behavior in a previous forum thread.)
