I have problems with the router dropping connections on both laptop connected via wired and wireless when the computer goes into hibernation. My computers all run Windows XP. When I wake up the computer, I see the connection got dropped and reconnected after a few seconds. This is annoying when I need to have my AIM connection on at all time. ASUS support said
this is the problem with the motherboard. Can anyone help me with fixing this issue? I have turned off hibernating mode and the problem is still there. I am thinking maybe clearing the nvram will help.
I am running TomatoUSB v1.28
"This function is with the motherboard. It sounds like the motherboard is turning off the lan controller on the board.
The router dont have any auto hybernate that syncs up with the pc.
Thank you for your time
