I love this firmware in just about every respect except for one persistent problem in my environment (e3000 + FIOS) throughout all the builds (including tomato-E3000USB-1.28.9054MIPSR2-beta-Ext) I have tried.
I have two routers (e3000 and dir-655) that I switch from time to time on my FIOS connection. When doing so, I have to properly release the WAN IP on the router I am replacing before I make the changeout, otherwise the replacement router cannot obtain a WAN IP on boot-up and there is no internet connection.
When replacing the tomato-usb e3000 and I click "release," the internet connection is properly disconnected (cannot browse). However, upon switchout, the other router (dir-655) cannot obtain a WAN IP unless I clone the WAN MAC of the e3000 on it.
I do not have the same problem the other way (i.e., where the tomato-usb e3000 replaces the dir-655). Nor is there a problem in either direction in the Linksys stock firmware or dd-wrt. This problem seems to be unique with tomato-usb.
Anyway, this is a minor inconvenience for me but I just want to point out this potential bug.
BTW - It does not seem to matter whether I check reduce packets or not.
