Has anyone had to use the forticlient for SSL VPN?
I have done some rudimentary efforts with OpenVPN without much success. There are certs for pem/crt/key included with the linux forticlient distribution. The vpn server appears to reject any notion of my attempts at connection. I do not have access to the VPN server at this time to see what is going on.
Next I moved on to trying to get the linux forticlient client working. The binary files are reporting as not executable. I suspect that this busybox/buildroot may be hiding a more meaningful error message. ldd reports satisfied dependencies, but I don't know if I trust this output.
log from attempted execution (the first few characters of this file indicate an ELF format, works great in ubuntu):
root@router:/opt/forticlientsslvpn# ./forticlientsslvpn ./forticlientsslvpn: line 1: syntax error: unexpected "(" root@router:/opt/forticlientsslvpn# ls -la forticlientsslvpn -rwxr-xr-x 1 1000 1000 2442292 Feb 6 2009 forticlientsslvpn root@router:/opt/forticlientsslvpn# tcsh # ./forticlientsslvpn ./forticlientsslvpn: Exec format error. Binary file not executable. # exit exit root@router:/opt/forticlientsslvpn#
