Before anything, I want to thank all the people that has made Tomato USB mod available. I would like to encourage people to make donation to this project, since it makes a low cost router to a multifunction/multipurpose gadget! I am definetely going to make a donation when I get my system finished. So Big Thanks to everybody who has worked for this project!!!
I would appreciate a lot if someone couldf help me out a little bit with this problem:
I need to send a http POST -request to a web -server in the internet. I have some measurement data (1-wire temperatures) in a file, and I need to send these values to my web -site.
My setup is here:
- Asus RT-N16 router with Tomato Teddy Bear
- 1 Tb USB disk
- ipkg installed
- LinkUSB 1-wire master
Using ipkg, I have installed digitemp that reads the 1-wire temperature sensors attached to LinkUSB master. The result is saved to router tmp -folder. I would like to send the information this file has to my webserver as a http POST-request.
The wget is able to make GET -reguest, but since the GET is recommended only for requesting data (and also has the length limitation), it is not the solution I want to make.
So anyone, could You give some hints? Is there some program that I could use from bash to se the request?
