I successfully installed Tomato 1.28 using Tomato_1_28_ND.zip. The installation was successful.
I was previously using Asus latest firmware. During the installation all the previous parameters were saved in Tomato. I got the wireless side connecting successfully. I am unable to get the LAN to WAN side working.
I'm using AT&T DSL. My internet address from the DSL modem is 220.127.116.11. I set Tomato to use:
Router IP: 192.168.1.1
Static DNS: 0.0.0.0
DHPC Server: checked
IP Address Range: 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.149
Lease Time: 1440
MAC Address: xx.xxx.xx.xx.xx.xx
Wireless Mode: Access Point
My PC gets a valid network address from the router:
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
When I ping Yahoo.com I get: Ping request could not find host yahoo.com
When I ping 18.104.22.168 I get a reply in 54ms after I've rebooted the router. I can redo the ping a couple times before it times out.
I'm lost on how to resolve the connection issue. If I don't resolve it I may need to return the firmware to Asus which I don't want to do.
